I'm not a big fan of country music, BUT I just read "It's All About Him" by Denise Jackson (Country Music Star Alan Jackson's wife). It's an incredible read..... (my mom made me read it... and I'm glad she did).
There's a song that Alan Jackson wrote called: 'Remember When' poetically detailing the ups and downs of marriage.
This song means so much to me now that I have heard it. Marriage is so much work, it is not to be taken lightly but the commitment is SO incredibly worth it. This song is just such an accurate portrayal of the happinesses and pains of marriage.
