When their is a meeting of two minds, there are bound to be two strong spirits that clash.
Two eagles flying side-by-side all of a sudden go head-to-head. There is a conflict, something that needs to be resolved. The eagles are strong. Too strong for each-other. Someone has to give, but who?
When something happens to us, we want to "clear it up", we want to "get things settled". But how do you settle things if the other eagle will not budge, or break or show emotion? What does one do?
I came into this marriage hoping for the best and I have received the best. But at times like these, I really can't believe that marriages work. I can see how people bail. The conflict is just too painful. The tears and the headaches hurt too much. The blind leading the blind is really what marriage is, neither party knows what they are really doing.
But we can't give up, too many do. We won't give up, because we both promised each-other that we wouldn't. We love each-other, we are dedicated to each-other. We won't always like each-other, but we will always love each-other.
