Snow?!?! This Early in October?!?!?!

I can't recall a fall where we got snow this early.

The leaves haven't even fallen off the trees yet--it's pretty cool--but hopefully it doesn't mean that it's going to be an extra long winter--we have long enough winters here in SD (November-April).

OH!! What a surprise I had today!! I switched to Blogger Beta and Lo and Behold.... I had a bunch of comments from friends that I had thought were lost, never to visit my blog again! I'm SO Thrilled!
