At church today we were told of a couple who lost their baby this morning in an emergency c-section.
They lost their baby.
Three weeks away from giving birth.....
and now that little baby is gone.
This was their first child. Their first.
Can you even imagine the pain that this couple is in?
The showers. The decorating. The inward celebrations and excitements.
The due date coming, the excitement mounting.
All of that. Gone.
She never got to see him cry or laugh.
He never got to hold him and feel him wiggle.
What pain can top this pain?
Oh Lord, please heal this immense and unimaginable pain in these people's lives.
